The main focus of Yannik Wiehl’s legal work is on advising and representing companies in court in the areas of commercial and contract law, industrial property rights and copyright law as well as advising on data protection law. Furthermore, his activities include the drafting of contracts and terms and conditions of business as well as the overall advice to companies as managed legal services. Yannik Wiehl is also a TÜV certified data protection officer.
After his law studies at the University of Bayreuth with additional studies in economics and his legal clerkship with stations in Regensburg and San Antonio, Texas, Yannik Wiehl worked as a attorney at law since 2010, initially for several years in the litigation department of a Hamburg law firm for media and copyright law. In 2013 he founded his first law firm with a focus on e-commerce, intellectual property and copyright law.
In 2015, Yannik Wiehl founded the law firm MW LEGAL Rechtsanwälte together with Felix Muuß, where he advised companies in a wide range of legal disputes and litigation and advised them on civil and commercial law issues as well as on trademark and copyright law. Since 2016, Yannik Wiehl has also been a TÜV-certified data protection officer and also assists companies as an external data protection officer.
